  • Design

Made with rich quality Australian clay and thrown to a thickness that enhances durability without compromising beauty, our pieces are then painted with non-toxic, food safe glazing (glazing varies depending on colours) and fired in the kiln three times. Each base is licked in liquid copper to amplify the conductivity of the ritual infusion. Both the black and grey are intentionally finished to feel raw and textural in the palm while the variegation of the white glaze offers an intriguing grainy depth.

  • Care instructions

We build each piece to be as resilient as clay can be, however ceramics are still prone to chipping and will break if dropped so please handle delicately. While Ritual Clay products are dishwasher safe, we recommend washing by hand for longevity and to retain the liquid copper bottom. The metallic base means our products are not microwave safe.

  • Do you need to get a handle on it?

Choosing between a tumbler and a mug will often come down to personal aesthetic. That said, in an effort to prevent you unnecessarily burning your fingerprints off, if you like a long black or other straight up scalding beverages, we’d like to suggest the handled mug may be a better fit.
